We are a chapter among thousands of local grassroots Indivisible groups. Our mission is to elect progressive leaders, rebuild our democracy, and defeat the Trump agenda.
Indivisible Forest Grove currently has 6 working Teams that meet regularly in person, as well as continuing discussions on their dedicated Signal chats. The group facilitators below are able to welcome you to any one of our Signal groups. This will require at least one administrator to have your phone number. We recommend joining 1-3 groups while being mindful of overextension. You can also mute channels at any time.

Signal is a private, encrypted messaging application to help you connect to your neighbors in the greater Forest Grove community. We expect each member to respect everyone’s identity and privacy, as well as the privacy of non-public activities.
When you are added to a Signal group, hop on and introduce yourself! Signal will not show you messages posted prior to your joining the chat, so it may seem slow or you may feel lost; fellow members and facilitators will do their best to welcome you and fill you in. Please ask when you need help, and jump in!
Also, be aware that several of our Signal groups include 50 or more persons. Please take individual discussions to direct messages rather than posting them to the entire group. To send a direct message, click a person’s icon and then select “message.” Share fun memes and videos, personal news, requests for rides, and philosophical musings in the IndFG Social & ChitChat channel on Signal, not in the main group.
To join a team: Please contact one of the project organizers for any working group you wish to join, or if you need support bringing your ideas to life. Each of our rallies and projects was initially proposed by an individual member, so don’t be shy about speaking up.
For general questions and concerns, connect with anyone listed as an Admin in a chat. Please offer patience and grace to all in this space. We are all volunteers, and our communities are going through a lot, but we will get through this—together, united, and indivisible.
Here are the terms and conditions for participation in our Signal groups and our social media platforms. Violating the following terms of conduct will result in a warning from a moderator. Persistent violations will result in the person’s removal from the group.
Confidentiality: All information shared in these groups is private and confidential. Participants agree not to copy, screenshot, record, or share any messages, media, or information outside a group without explicit permission from the original sender.
Respect and Conduct: All participants must communicate respectfully. Harassment, threats, hate speech, or illegal content are strictly prohibited. Those violating these rules will be removed from the Signal group.
No Legal, Financial, or Medical Liability: The groups and their participants are not responsible for any actions taken based on information shared there. Information exchanged should not be considered professional advice unless clearly stated.
Data Security: These groups use Signal, an end-to-end encrypted platform, but no system is completely immune from risk. Participants agree to keep their devices and Signal accounts secure (e.g., using strong passwords and updated apps).
Voluntary Participation: Joining any of these groups is voluntary. You may leave at any time, but messages you’ve sent may remain visible to other participants.
