Spring is here, and now it’s time to make democracy bloom! Indivisible Forest Grove has been preparing several events, and many have landed on dates during the month of April. If you are looking for an opportunity to connect with progressives in your community, consider joining us at these local April events.

Adopt-A-Corner Training on April 10th

The Day Labor Corner in Cornelius needs volunteers to stand in solidarity with the workers. Adopting a Corner means committing, as a neighbor, ally, or community member, to accompany, observe, and actively support a place where day laborers gather to look for work. We stand together to protect rights, safely document abuses, and strengthen the fabric of the community.

UPCOMING TRAINING FOR CORNELIUS

This training at our meeting on April 10 will cover:

  • Background of the movement
  • Core Values & Reasons to Adopt a Corner
  • Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities
  • Opportunities for Questions, Answers, Collaboration, & Solidarity

Our Regular Meetings are on April 10th & April 24th @ 5:30 – 7PM at Forest Grove UCC
